The S.A.S Jungle adventure games, and Zakatcha Village were designed and created by Garry Taylor and Björn Sörensson, owners of Special Adventures Sweden (S.A.S).
Chief Instructor
Garry is Special forces trained and has worked all over the world, he is also a member of the International Bodyguard Association and has been in charge of security on many personal protection assignments around the world in the past.
Garry is very experienced in working in small teams, and continues to offer his expertise as Bodyguard and Security co-ordinator to large companies, business people, and the entertainment industry
He is also the owner of SAS SECURITY, one of the most well trained and successful private security companies in Sweden.
Garry`s idea for a "Rolls Royce" of indoor paintball, with sound, lights, and some kind of theme, came from the realization that people were wanting more than the same old "capture the flag" type games played on outside paintball fields.
He came to think about the vast amount of people interested in computer games, and imagined how it would be to have a game that resembled a computer game, with different levels and a number of problems to solve, but the player would be in it in reality, not just sitting in front of a screen, and that is how the jungle was born.
As well as being chief instructor at S.A.S passing on his knowledge of Teamwork and group communication to all the groups that visit us, Garry is also chief instructor on our survival courses. On some occasions he is sat in the S.A.S control room operating the sound, lighting and computer systems for your adventure in the Jungle.
Garry is also a fully qualified Segway Transporter Instructor and helps in all Segway activities at SAS.
In private, Garry is also an instructor in self defence, and the art of the Ninja at his dojo in skåne. Garry is the main instructor at S.A.S, and with his specialized knowledge he continues to teach and help many large and small Companies, Private groups, Security officers, Police, etc...in techniques of Teamwork, Team building, Improvization, Observation, Motivation, Memory re-call, Communications, Tactics etc.. Garry is also often asked to train both Softair and Paintball teams.

Sound and lighting technician, Instructor.
Björn wanted to give people the ultimate experience in adventure games, and often sat until the small hours of many evenings together with Garry designing both the layout of the S.A.S Jungle building and designing and inventing the games.
Björn is also the brains behind all the sound and lighting system in the jungle, and he designed and built the S.A.S jungle waterfall.
Björn has worked as a sound and lighting engineer to many famous people including The Eagles, Boney M, Herreys, and 666, and has a lot of experience in this area, so you are guaranteed great sound and lighting when Björn is sat in the S.A.S Control room during your game.
He is also one of the main instructors in all the adventures at S.A.S and is the person that makes sure that all the technical equipment is running the way it should.
Björn is also a fully qualified Segway Transporter Instructor and helps in all Segway activities at SAS.
In private Björn is a musician and is a member of a popular band in Skåne.

The design of the S.A.S Jungle took a few months before the first nail was hit ! We enrolled the help of experts from England to help design the layout of the buildings and the positioning of certain "key features".
The heights of the buildings and the positioning of spotlights, smoke machines etc...were all carefully planned to give a very difficult Game/Training area to succeed in if you dont use good communications, teamwork and planning. From the S.A.S control room, the sound and lighting engineer ( often Björn ) varies the enviroment in the jungle as the game continues.
One minute it can be bright and colourful with calm relaxing sounds, the next minute it can change to a dark and mysterious place with lots of shadows and strange sounds.
The "God" of the jungle sitting in the control room can even command a powerful thunderstorm in this jungle enviroment, making the jungle a very difficult and stressful place to be if you are to succeed in your adventure !...yet he can even help you in your task by lighting up the things you are looking for and even give you clues to help you in your mission.
The instructors at S.A.S also spend time in the control room watching your groups performance, when they are not there, the engineer in the control room contacts the instructors by radio and keeps them updated on the groups tactics and performance. ( this is why you will see all the crew at S.A.S wearing communication radios and head sets).
With all this information our instructors can then help to guide your team to success by teaching you and your group the way to work effectivly as a commited and functioning team.
